Chat & Snack is an easy, informal way to get to know Kanbe's Markets and discover all the ways you can be part of what we're building across Kansas City. Whether you're curious about volunteering, looking for a team service opportunity, interested in community events, or simply want to learn more about where rescued food goes after it leaves the warehouse, we'd love to come meet you.

We'll share stories from the warehouse, give you an idea of how food moves from wholesalers to neighborhood corner stores, community organizations, and beyond, and bring some of our freshest merchandise from our Merch Market! You'll get a chance to ask questions, connect with our team, and can even get a peek at the quality and variety of produce that moves through Kanbe's every day.

Chat & Snack visits are available for businesses, schools, neighborhood groups, faith communities, and other organizations looking for a simple way to connect their people with meaningful ways to get involved. Our staff will come to you with approximately 45 minute sessions that can be scheduled throughout the year.
