Kick off Kanbe’s 2026 Ugly Dinner Series with a special Progressive Ugly Dinner in the Westside. This is an evening all about gathering around the table, celebrating the beauty of imperfect produce, and remembering how good food connects us all.

We’ll begin with a warm and welcoming happy hour at xo HiFi from 6–7 PM, where you’ll mingle with neighbors, friends, and fellow supporters who care about building a better food system in Kansas City. 

Then, we’ll make our way down the hill together to TRIUNE for a thoughtfully-prepared, multi-course Ugly Dinner, where Chef Rodolfo will transform rescued produce from Kanbe’s into something truly extraordinary.

Your ticket includes:

• 6-7pm: Cocktail service at xo HiFi

• 7-9pm: Ugly Dinner service at TRIUNE

Participation in this evening directly supports Kanbe’s Markets’ work to build a more inclusive food system, expanding dignified access to fresh fruits and vegetables for more than 500,000 residents in Kansas City.
