HUNGER ACTION MONTH
According to Feeding America, Missouri has one of the highest hunger rates in the country—15.4% of Missourians, nearly 1 in 6, experience food insecurity. For kids, it’s even higher: nearly 1 in 5 children grow up without reliable access to the fresh food they need to thrive.
This September, during Hunger Action Month, Kanbe’s Markets is teaming up with local bars and restaurants to change that. Together, we’re raising the support it takes to make fresh produce a part of everyday life—right where people already shop and gather.
Because when good food is close at hand, it nourishes more than bodies—it strengthens our whole community.
