2026 Ugly Dinner Series
For four years now we have partnered with the best KC restaurants and most talented local chefs. Inspired by our mission, they have opened their kitchen, to create heartfelt, intimate, and memorable dishes. We have grown a community of foodies that flourished through these dinners, and it has been our honor to share these meals with you all.

Decorate a Platter Workshop - A Kanbe's Giveback Class Hosted by Claymates
Join Us for a Fun Workshop Decorating a Platter!
Grab a mate and get your hands dirty in this 2.5-hour workshop, where you’ll hand-build your very own ceramic platter. Pretty enough to use for hosting or hang on your wall. You will make and decorate your platters with a wax, carving and inlay technique in this workshop. No clay experience? No problem! This workshop is perfect for beginners.

Bingo and Plants benefiting Kanbe's Markets at Brown & Loe
Join us for a night of Bingo and Plants benefiting Kanbe's Markets! Sunday, October 11th from 4pm-6pm we will be playing Bingo for plant prizes!
Doors open at 3:30pm~ Get your tickets today for this local event - fun for all ages!
Tickets $45 each (additional bingo cards will be available for purchase)

A portion of the proceeds from sales will go directly back to Kanbe's to support their mission to build a more inclusive food system by transforming food loss into food access across the Kansas City Metropolitan Area.

Ink for Impact Hosted by Old Souls Tattoo
Ink for Impact is back! Join Kanbe’s Markets and Old Souls Tattoo for round two on September 19th at Old Souls’ NEW location. Five artists, new and returning flash, walk-ins, first come first served, and food + coffee from Disco Burger and Oddly Correct. Proceeds support fresh food access in Kansas City. Save the date — new flash sheets dropping soon!

Plant Bingo Giveback Night
Kanbe's Markets is hosting plant bingo at Brown & Loe! Join us in celebrating both Brown & Loe and Kanbe's 10 year anniversaries! A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Kanbe's. 3 rounds of Bingo with plant prizes and complementary snacks on Sunday August 2nd from 4pm - 6pm.
Bingo - $35.00
3 rounds of Bingo, 1 card each round, small bites provided. Additional cards are available for purchase separately.
VIP - $55.00
Includes premium seating, charcuterie service at the table, and 3 bingo cards per game.
